Acronis constantly interfering with other programs.

Acronis 2015 build 5634

I am constantly getting programs paused when Acronis apparently attempts to backup temporary files from them. It eventually ends with Acronis pausing or failing. In the meantime, when it interrupts online gaming, I sit there helpless while the game continues.

Have I set it up wrong? What is the problem, and how do I solve it?
