acronis loader fatal error: boot drive partition not found

Hello,
I just wanted to check if TI Home 2010 does what it should do: be able to recover by using the ATI rescue boot media.
Unfortunately I get the above error message immediately after starting from CD.

The system is a Win7/64, running SATA disk in AHCI-mode. System itself is healthy without any problem, I just want to test this software feature before relying on it.
So any hint like 'use fixboot etc.' is useless, as the system itself does not have a problem, it's Acronis SW which has the problem.

So it would be of great help if somebody could help me out, before I have to screen the market so find something which works.
