Acronis Loader stuck at "loading"

I wanted to restore an image of another computer to my new, refurbished, Dell Latitude D531 laptop computer. Acronis True Image 11 was installed.

I tried restore and the display stuck, after reboot, at "Acronis Loading...".
Then I tried my Acronis Recovery Disk but the same thing happened. Both approaches worked with an my wife's identical computer.

I compared BIOS settings of the two computers and hers had an Administration Password set and mine did not. I set a password and now the Acronis loader works fine.

This Dell BIOS has a BIG list of security options that I really do not understand.

I've checked with our Testers, and Development team: they've never heard of such an issue, and would like to take a closer look at the situation. So we would highly appreciate if you could kindly do some testing for us, and send us additional log.

Although it should make no difference, these two computers are running Windows Vista Business 32 BIT.
