Acronis reloader

Thread needs solution

Hi

After closing Try&Decide and a new start of the computer (in order to delete all changes) every time there is a black screen with the hanging message «Acronis Reloader...» with a blinking cursor. Nothing goes anymore. I have to press the power button for 5 seconds and to restart the windows 7.

I have removed ATH with the cleanup utility and even gone back to a very early backup (close to the newly setup of windows 7): Still the same problem.

My son has the same problem on another laptop!

What can we do? Will there be soon an update which fixes this problem? Are there other persons with the same problem?

Unfortunately it is not clear why this issue occurs. Please gather the following information and contact our Support team:

1- Screen-shot of the "black screen"

2- Run your machine from Acronis bootable media and gather Acronis System Report

Screenshot is impossible, because I have to «kill» the system in order to be able to restart! But it's simple: Blacksreen and the message «Acronis loader will be started..»

How can I submit you my system report? I've got it on my desktop...

It cannot be specifically a matter of MY computer (PackardBell 64bit Windows7) because my son has exactely the same problem (Acer 64 bit Windows 7). Therefore it is a problem of the software itself.

I even had this problem when I still got free support from Acronis when i have bought ATH last year, but they couldn't help me!!! Now after buying a new laptop I'm trying again to solve that problem because it's annoying to always kill the system after using Try and Decide!

Thank you for your reply!

1- You can just provide the full text that appears in the screen or take a picture with a digital camera. A step-by-step description would help.

2- You should be able to attach files when you are writting a comment at Acronis Forum (File attachments under Comment box)

3- Does happen the same when loading from bootable media? Have you tried using Acronis WinPE bootable media?

This happens after using Try&Decide. If I decide to not keep the changes, then I Acronis offers 2 possibilities, both with a new start of the Windows. It happens with both ways.

Acronis WinPE bootable media: I have not installed ATH plus, so I cannot try that.
