Acronis TI 2014 Boot CD Issue on IBM ThinkCentre

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I have to restore a backup image on a older IBM ThinkCentre PC. This computer uses IDE hard drives. Since the computer in question is for medical equipment, installing Acronis TI on it is not an option. This computer runs a slimmed down version of Windows 2000 and just that medical software. Therefore, I created the backup image on another computer using Acronis TI 2014. I did this by taking the IDE hard drive out of the IBM ThinkCentre PC and connecting it to the other computer using a IDE to USB adaptor. Creating the image worked fine. I then restored the image on the new IDE hard drive the same way, with the IDE to USB adaptor. Both hard drives work fine, i just want to have a second one handy in case the main one fails one day. It restored correctly as well, so good so far. Then I connect the new IDE hard drive to the IBM ThinkCentre and it boots, I then see the Windows 2000 Startup logo and the loading process, then i get the blue-screen in the image attached.

I have the backup image on a USB drive, so i decided to create a Acronis TI Boot CD and try to do the restore on the IBM ThinkCentre itself. After i boot from the Acronis TI Boot CD, and i select Acronis from the menu, it gets to the blue background with the hourglass mouse cursor, and right before the recovery menu is loaded the screen goes black, then the booting process starts over again.
- I tried this same boot CD on another computer and it works fine.
- I tried using a different CD ROM on the IBM ThinkCentre and it does the same thing so the CD ROM is not the problem.

What could the issue be?

Is the Bootable Media available for download in my Acronis account any different than the one i make with the program?

Acronis tells us that there is no difference.

When you restored the image, did also restore the "recover disk signature" option?

Refer my signature link 3 below, item 2 inside that link, figure 8
