Acronis TIH doesn't appear in a "standard user account"

I Have looked the the KB and forums and cannot find a similar problem.

I have just reinstalled Windows vista64bit, I lost a couple of files, not impotant.. but anoying all the same, so i thought i'll give Acronis ago.

I have setup windows with an Admin user account and a Standard user account in windows and I only use the standard account.

I loggin as the "standard Account" and installed Acronis with the option "for current user" but Acronis only appears in the Administrator account and not in the standard one. So I have login as the Adminstrator account if I want to use Acronis, which is a little anoying.

I have tried reinstalling with the option "for everyone" but the same thing happens.

Is this by desgin? or is there a way to access Acronis without having to switch user and login in as the Administrator.

Try this:
- uninstall ATI completely,
- reboot in the administrator account,
- install for all users from there.

ATI requires admin rights for usage, it should install as you want it. Let's see if this reinstall fixes it.
