I just received this Acronis True Image Home 2011 today. I opened it from the box and loaded the CD. It would not read.

I would need a new installtation CD shipped to me.

There can be several reasons for this issue (production error, corruption during transfer, faulty CD, etc.). Since the product wasn't purchased directly from Acronis website, we cannot exchange the faulty disk. However, we can help you to get the installation file another way: 

Please follow these step-by-step instructions in order to register the license of the product to your account on our website.  This will allow you to download the installation file from your account. We recommend to use this downloaded *.exe for installation as it is the latest updated version of the product available.

In case of emergency or in case you need a bootable rescue media, but prefer not to install the product to your machine, feel free to download the media in *.iso format from your account and burn it onto the CD.
