Acronis True Image 10 Refuses to Install
Hey:
Apologies if I'm in the wrong section or anything like that... this is officially my first posting in any forum. I've been using the yearly upgrades of Acronis True Image (TI) for the last five or six years without any major problems.
That said, I'm in the process of moving to a WIN 7 64-bit system I just built, and, in the process wiped my TI installation from my previous PC (WIN XP SP3, 32-bit). Now, no matter what I try (and I've tried a ton), I can't reinstall TI. Essentially, I start the install process, and within two minutes my system reports, "The installation was interrupted before TI could be installed. You need to start the installer to try again." About 30 seconds after I close that box, the full TI install page presents itself again. It's really getting to me.
Lastly, I'm very up to speed on Windows, software & hardware, my PC is free of malware, and I've tried just about everything I can think of to remedy this problem.
I've been a big fan of TI for a long time, but I'm seriously looking around for a possible replacement. And you know, having been a VERY loyal Acronis customer over the years, it really bugs me that they try to squeeze more funds out of me in order to provide good product support.
