Hello François,

Thank you for using Acronis Products

I have sent you ISO image of Acronis Disk Director bootable disc via PM. ISO image is based on different loader which has more embedded drivers, it will certainly solve the issue you experience. If not please let us know.

Thank you very much for the quick response/help

I download the ISO file and write to cd, but unfortunately, when i start the computer with this cd i can read the following message.
"Error E000101F4 Disk Director Suite has not found any harddisk drives"

Is there a ISOfile available for Acrois True Image 11 home? This is more important because,
i can use Acronis Disk director in Windows XP
but i can not replace a imagefile when windows crash or virus or something else happen.
in that case i need the bootmedia cd.

Hello Dmitry, i have the same Problem with Acrois True Image 11 Home. My PC is HP Compaq dc7900 with Intel ICH10 Family.

Dmitry,

I try every iso file (also the 8 possibilities from the ATI 11 H iso file) but always the same error.

What i don't understand is the following:
I think Windows XP Pro already excist about 7 or 8 years (before sata come), and when i put this cd now, end 2009, in the dvd writer and start the computer, guess what happen, indeed, the setup starts and he RECOGNISE all the harddisks in mij system.

believe it or not, but Acronis True Image 11 home, from 03/04/2008, and Acronis Disk Director suite 10 from 04/04/2007 the work not at all.
ok the work after install in windows, i can make 500 image-files or 1000 but, i can not set them back if the system crash. this mean, the program is useless. can i ask my wasted money back? i don"t think so.
now my question is: what can i do to use the programs from bootmedia or... how i can repair my system when the computer don't start anymore?

Is there a program from Acronis who can do that?

INTEL(R) ICH10 Family 2 port Serial ATA Storage controller 2 - 3A26

Je suis sous XP - SP3
INTEL(R) ICH10 Family 4 port Serial Ata Storage controller 1 - 3A20

Hello Dmitry, i have the same Problem with Acrois True Image 11 Home. My Notebook is a Samsung
E252. Please send me the ISO image of Acronis Disk Director bootable disc.

Thank you for your help.

best regards

I'm having the same problem with a newer computer. Boot disk doesn't recognize SATA disks.
I am using True Image 11. I guess I'll need the link to that iso file that has updated drivers.
Why doesn't Acronis update it's product to include the new drivers? This file should be provided to all registered users who have spent good money on the Acronis product. It's
crazy to make so many of us go through all this crap when Acronis has released a defective product.
Please send me a link to the iso file that will allow me to again use True Image 11.

I have the same problem, I just upgraded to a Gigabyte board
and my sata drives no longer reconized.
Send me the update.
thanks

Hello all,

This issue is related to lack of drivers for your HDD controller in standalone version of Acronis. Windows versions will work because they use Windows drivers, but Standalone version has its own list of drivers...

Please make sure that you registered the product you experience the issue with at our website. After that, feel free to PM me for new ISO. We cannot post ISO images for a public access due to license policy.

Thank you.

i find a solution to use ATI 11 in windows.

1) first, create a partition C:
2) than instal you opperating system
3) create a second partition X:
4) install you OS on this partition to.
5) install Acronis True Image 11 home on the second partition X:.
6) with dualboot, boot you computer on the second partition X:
7) in windows, make a image file from the C: partition.
8) now you can set this imagefile back to the C: partition anytime you want to. this is possible because the C: partition is not active when you start the computer from the X: partition.

i hope it is a little bit clearly and it wil help some of us.
i know it is not the perfect solution and some circuitous, but it is a possibility to use ATI 11 H and to set you old imagefiles back.

My Dell PC doesnt recognize any Harddisk, if I start with the Acronis True Image 10 Recovery CD. Can you send me a ISO image to make a recovery CD. Because i want to restore an image on this PC. email: wgollas@t-online.de

Hello. Like many other people, the TI 11 Recovery disk does not see any drives. I have an ASUS P5QL motherboard with an ICH10 storage controller. Can you please send me a bootable image so I can use the product with my computer. As others, it works in Windows but in case of a drive failure it is useless unless it can find the drives to restore from and to. I have the latest build of TI 11 available from your web site. As someone else pointed out, it would save everyone a lot of trouble if Acronis posted an update to their product with up to date drivers. I have been using Acronis products since version 8 and am considering upgrading to TI 2010 when the product actually works, but for now I need to be able to use TI 11.

Thank you.

have the same problem with Acrois True Image 11 Home. My PC is HP Compaq dc7800
the installed Harddisk is a raid system with 2 disc. i Think this is not possible without the rigt driver.

I have the same problem with Acronis True Image 11 and ICH10 (From bootable Disc - E000101F4, from Windows - no problem). Could You send me an ISO-File with the correct drivers?

I have create a boot-cd with True Image. It's boot and then BLACK (not blue) screen and then nothing.... Please, could you send me an ISO with the correct drivers? Thanks!

Hello...I have the same problem with my HP dc7900 and True Image v 11.0. That is... when I boot from the (orignal) boot cd, I get BLACK screen and then nothing. How did you get the ISO-File with the correct drivers? Thank you.

je veux restaurer avec Acronis 11, il demande de Redémarrer sinon il annule la restauration. Et au Redémarrage, il ne reconnait plus de disque SATA!
Donc impossible de restaurer

I tested a freshly made boot CD running on a USB DVD drive, I was able to boot my laptop from the CD and run Acronis, I then inserted a DVD containing the system backup file (MyBackup.tib) in the USB drive but Acronis did not see any USB drive (normally the d:\ drive) even if the PC booted from the USB drive, so the Acronis software is useless in case I am unable to boot from the PC hard drive, acronis CD-boot feature and literature is misleading and false.

Little up, because i still have the same problem with new DC7900...
It 'll became a huge problem for all my trueimage backups done from windows without possibilities of restoring ....

Need to recover image from an updated Dell Optiplex 960 w/ SATA and cannot load drivers..

Please send latest .ISO, thanks!

Hello all,

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

I'll do my best to fix the issue.

Please feel free to contact me directly via PM and I'll send you a download to our special ISO images.

Norm, I've sent you a Private Message with a download link to the latest ISO image. Please burn it and check if your drives are recognized.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.

As a temporary solution, I connected the drive to a USB adapter to perform a backup/restore but it takes more time and labor.

I'm also having real problems (spent hours) trying to get my recovery cd to recognise my drives. Everything works fine when using the program in windows, but not through the CD. I will PM for the iso file in the hope this helps. Other than this issue (which seems common), I like the program !

Karl,
Check your registration page and see if the iso is already listed available for your download.

Hello,

Karl, I've replied to your PM and requested some additional information.

GroverH, thanks for the help.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

I liked True Image in Windows, but could not get it to recognise drives with the recovery disk, despite some help from helpful people on here (Ilya). Luckily, only tried it on a trial basis, so didn't lose any money. This seems to be a very common issue, so don't know why it isn't fixed. In the end I had to choose another disk cloning program which recognised drives no problem first time (Paragon), but would have chosen Drive Image if this had worked, as felt it had a better interface and perhaps more user friendly.. Thank you for all the help, though.

Hi

Tomorrow I'm going to test if I can recover a Dell pc to a new Hp dc7900 using Acronis B&R Advanced workstation + Universal recovery. I downloaded the boot cd from the Acronis site. Will I encounter any of the above problems or are these not the case with the business editions of Acronis?

thx

Anyway should you face any problem, you can always download the bootable media from your account (it should look like this:
)

or contact our support directly for immediate ongoing assistance, they will definitely help you!

Hi there,

I'm another having the hanging issue with the HP DC7900 workstations, albeit with TI Echo Workstation rather than Home. Unfortunately it doesn't look like we can PM moderators any more, but if I could receive a link to another ISO with extra drivers as previously mentioned in this thread that would be great.

Thank you.

Hello all!

Thank you for your comments!

We're glad to inform you that from now on in order to solve the issue all you need to do it download the latest bootable media from your account, burn it onto the CD and perform cloning from it: it should solve the problem and make the new drive visible.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

Ronald Willemsen

Hello all,

Thank you for posting and I appreciate your help Grover.

Ronald, please let me assist you.

It will not be possible to download Dutch bootable media from your Acronis web-account, it only works for the English version of Acronis True Image 11 Home, I am sorry for any inconvenience.

However, I will follow-up with a private message and provide you with a download link for it.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Would You please be so kind to send me the image of the actual version. I tried to make a restore and the the harddisks were not detected. In The german site for Trie Image Home 11 there is no tab visible to download the image directly, so I need your help.

Th. Haag
<e-mail removed due to security reasons>

Hello Th. Haag!

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here!

I will surely be glad to provide you with the requested media. Please check your Private message in 5 minutes.

Please also note that Acronis True Image Home 11 is an outdated, it's not supported, developed and updated anymore, so we cannot guarantee that it will recognize modern hardware.

Should the problem remain even after you tried the media I've sent, then I'd advise you to test the latest version of Acronis Home products: Acronis True Image Home 2011. It's User Guide is available here. Acronis True Image Home 2011 does recognize the backups created with the previous versions of the software, so you don't need to worry whether it will be able to restore your old backups.

The trial version is fully functional and has only the following limitations:

  • 30 days of work
  • trial version cannot perform Clone operations
  • trial bootable media can restore only

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

Hello,

I have the same problem with Acronis True image 11 Home (German Version). From the Bootable disk, Acronis doesn't find the sata Harddisks. The point bootable media is not to find in the download section. Please send me an iso-image.

Thank you

Tom

Hello Tom!

Thank you for your comment, and for finding time to report about the issue on Forum. I understand your current concern, and will gladly help.

Please note that Acronis True Image Home 11 is an outdated product. We cannot guarantee that it will work with modern hardware as this product version is not updated, developed and supported anymore.

I will send you the link to the latest atih11 bootable media via PM. Please follow the instructions, and check whether the issue remains.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

I use Acronis True Image home 11 (build 8.082) and also am experiencing these kind of problems. When I am trying to put back an image from my external hard drive, True Image keeps hanging in the screen where I should be able to go to the external hard drive and than to the image. I have a dutch version. I hope you can send me the download link, thank you, Angela
I am sorry I created this message twice, I don't know how to delete one.

Hello Angela,

Thank you for posting. I will certainly assist you with your question.

I will send you a private message with a download link for the bootable media in a few minutes.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Thank you for the link. Unfortunately it did not solve my problem, but thank you very much for giving me the oportunity to try,
Angela

Hello,

Bootable media made from TIH2011 most recent build this weekend does not recognize the pair of hard drives that I have configured as RAID1 on a AMD based SB850 motherboard. TIH2011 seems to make the backups fine while it is running under Windows 7 Prof 64bit , but I can not restore the backup because when using the Boot CD that was made from the option in TIH2011, Acronis does not recognize the hard drives. Does anyone have a solution?

More info: This weekend I loaded TIH2011 on Win7 Prof 64bit and upgraded to the most recent build release, and then made a backup of the partitions to a USB drive. I then used the installed ITH2011 option to make a Bootable CD and found that when I boot from the CD, it does not recognize my hard drives that I configured as RAID1 on the motherboard, thus I can not do a restore. The motherboard is the AMD based MSI 890FXA-GD70 that uses RAID based on AMD SB850. I saw a very similar post for a few months ago for someone that was using TIH10, but the recommendation was to upgrade to TIH2011.

Hi Neil,

You are facing driver support issues.

If you have installed 2011 build 6696, you should generate a system report and contact Acronis Customer support to see if they can generate an ISO for you.

If you have an older build and have registered your software on acronis.com, go to your account to download a bootable iso. This will have a different driver set (see attachment).
