Acronis True Image 2011 on Windows 7
Hi all.
Acronis True Image Home version 11.0 (build 8.082) works on Windows Seven?
I have made an image backup without problems, but I would like to know if also the restore works.
Thanks.

Based on the build number you posted, it looks like you have v11 not v2011. If you made an image of your system using the v11 bootable Rescue Disk, you could use the bootable Rescue Disk to do a restore, but there is no way to be sure your results would be good.
Why should there be an issue using the rescue disk of v11?

The v11 Rescue disk does not support newer disks such as GPT, SSD, and ADF drives, as well as some newer hardware. In most cases if you can boot to the rescue disk and create a backup, you should be okay doing the restore on the same system. I only made the statement concerning the restore because you could run into problems that will not be addressed in the older version your are running, as no updates to the v11 product are going to be released.
Only a test restore would determine if the rescue disk works properly with your system. I still use v11 on some XP systems I have and the rescue disk works fine on them. I also have newer systems that the v11 rescue disk does not work properly on.

I'm sorry: my version is 11.0 and not 2011.
I have made an image backup using directly the program, not the rescue disk.
I have created an USB pen drive bootable.
What I must to control in my PC to be sure of restore?

Just boot your PC to the Rescue media (USB Pen) and restore a few files to a new location for testing. If you can do that, you should be able to restore your PC from the backup image you created using the Rescue media (USB Pen).
