Acronis True Image 2012
I have been running Acronis True Image 2012 with no problems. But now when I upgraded from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 10, microsoft says this version is not supported and deleted the software.
What are my options besides buying a newer version?

In changing from Windows 7 to 10 the setup program said it had to uninstall TI. It then indicated the uninstall had failed and to contact Acronis. TI is no longer listed in my programs and Acronis provides no support. How do I uninstall TI?

Assuning that the software was installed on your "C" drive you will find the Acromis software in "Program Files (x86)." You will have to delete each file manually. That was the only way I was able to delete my 2012 version.

Hi
Subject: Upgrading Acronis True Image Home 2012 to Acronis True Image 2016 after clean-install of Windows 10.
Background:
Since my first Installation of Acronis True Image Home 9.0 many years ago, I have upgraded it to Acronis TIH 11.0 - then to - Acronis TIH 2012. Shortly I will be upgrading to Acronis True Image 2016.
Currently I am using Acronis TIH 2012 on Windows 7 and I am about to move to Windows 10. For several reasons, I wish to do a “Clean Installation” of Windows 10 as opposed to Windows upgrade. I am aware that Acronis True Image 2012 needs to be upgraded to Acronis TIH 2016 to be compatible with Windows 10.
I have a copy of all files and all Registration keys for installing Acronis TIH 9.0, Acronis TIH 11.0 and Acronis TIH 2012.
Questions:
- As part of "Clean Install of Windows 10", Acronis True Image Home 2012 would have been removed. How to upgrade my Acronis True Image Home 2012 to Acronis True Image 2016 after doing a “Clean Install of Windows 10”?
- Do I have to re-install Acronis TIH 9.0, then Acronis TIH 11.0 and then Acronis TIH 2012 before upgrading to Acronis TIH 2016? Would Windows 10 allow me to Install earlier versions of Acronis?
- What are my options and how best can I get Acronis TIH 2016 up and running on my PC when I have Windows 10 on it?
Yours sincerely

Hello MVK,
Just install Acronis True Image 2016 and specify two license keys in order to activate the software (one from a Standard version and an Upgrade one, in your case it would be Acronis True Image 9.0 Home + Acronis True Image 2016 Upgrade).

I have a backup of my Windows 7 computer created with TI 2016 stored on Acronis Cloud. I upgraded to Windows 10. Do I have to do anything special about the oblolete Windows 7 backup (I'd like to delete it, but that is not possible with backups stored in Acronis Cloud), or can I just make a new TI backup and assume TI will backup the new operating system and delete the Windows 7 files that are no longer needed?
Thanks

Hello Michael,
You can disable your system backup to Cloud from running automatically: select "Do not schedule" option in backup settings.
Then I suggest you creating a new backup task, give it a new name and choose Cloud as destination.
While you cannot delete individual versions (recovery points), you can delete the entire archive completely from the Cloud if you do not need it. Click on a small arrow next to backup name in True Image interface and choose Delete. This will delete all the versions of the given backup from the Cloud.

Slava
