Acronis True Image with full GPT support

Thread needs solution

Until recently i been using Acronis True Image without the pluspack. Now i got a new computer that support EFI and switched to the disk-partitioning system GPT instead of using MBR. As far as i can see Acronis require the pluspack to support GPT which is fine, but still with several limitations. Like resize during restore/recovery is not supported which is the main drawback for me. I been using TI for some years now with great success and don't want to switch to something else, but with limited GPT support i might not have a choice.

Will there be a new version of Acronis TI/pluspack or a update that include full GPT support in the near future?

Thanks in advance.

It will be (is) implemented in Backup & Recovery 11, and probably (my guess) - will not be implemented in update builds of TI Home 2011.

Thank you for your reply, i guess i can try Backup & Recovery 11 when available. I assume there is no TI 2012 to be released in the close future (weeks and not months)?

If usual scheduling is followed, TI2012 will come out in the fall.

OK So were in to 2013 using 2013 Plus Pack and we still do not have full UEIF GPT Support. The best I can tell from reading all the threads is that we still only have partial support. Like I have to set up a new disk/ssd with file system GPT and set up all the partitions before restoring a full disk back up!! I don't find this acceptable.
It appears that now I will have to buy a 2nd back up software for my UEIF machines?

Macrium Reflect http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx does fully support UEIF/GPT systems
