Acronis True Image Home 11 and HighPoint RocketRAID Host Adapter 620

Thread needs solution

Acronis® True Image Home® version 11.0 (build 8,101)
HighPoint RocketRAID Host Adapter 620 Sata 3
Two Western Digital Sata 3 HD's

Neither reboot from windows, nor boot cd created from rescue media creator sees the two hd's on the host adapter.
Installed latest SnapAPI Setup.msi, SnapAPI380.
Still does not work.
Will the driver for this adapter be added in the near future?

Hello Stephen,

I'll do my best to resolve the issue, but first, could you please clarify in which environment your RAID controller is not recognized: within Windows or under a bootable media?

If you have the issue with bootable media, I may recommend you to try a special bootable ISO image that is based on ISOLINUX bootloader. ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the website more frequently than regular product updates are released.

Please do the following to download the media:

  1. Log in to your account (if you do not have one, you will need to create it);
  2. Once logged in, click My Products & Downloads:

  3. Scroll down to the registered product and click Bootable Media:

  4. Click Download:

  5. Acronis Bootable Media will be downloaded as an ISO file. See Burning an ISO Image.

Please reply to this tread if you need any further assistance.

Thank you.
