Acronis True Image Home 2010 Spanish Does Not Detect RAID0 Hard Disks in Windows 7 when recovering

Thread needs solution

When I use Acronis Startup Recovery or Recue Media to recover an image backup of ATI Home 2010 Spanish and Windows 7 Home Premium, my HDD (MBR and RAID0 Intel ICHR9) is not detected. It detects the two physical HDD in RAID0. I've tried with 5078 and 6053.

It's important for me. Any idea?

Thanks.

Hello Juan Antonio,

I will do everything possible in order to resolve the issue you experience.

The source of the issue is SnapAPI malfunction drivers or file system errors/bad blocks on the hard drive. So first of all I would recommend you update SnapAPI drivers using the following link. In case the issue persists  please check the drive for errors:

- Go to the Command Prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd);

- Enter the command:

chkdsk DISK: /r

where DISK is the partition letter you need to check. Please note, that checking the C: drive may require you to reboot the machine.

If the issue still remains please attach Acronis Report to your next reply. Could you please download Acronis Report utility available at http://download.acronis.com/support/AcronisReport.exe and run it? Please compress the Acronis Report output file into an archive (e.g. with WinZip) and attach to your message by browsing for the archive. This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.

Hello Juan Antonio,

Sorry for misunderstanding, it looks like you have the issue under Acronis bootable disc also. Please download ISO image based on ISOLinux from your account under Registered Products and create Acronis bootable disc using third-party software. ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the website more frequently than regular product updates are released.

ISOLINUX Bootable Media has several boot parameters that may help overcome possible issues with booting. You can also set a specific VGA resolution in the ISOLINUX media if there an issue with the Graphical User Interface (GUI). Check the following article for more details

You can download ISO image from your account under registered products.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.

Problem with Snap Deploy:: I also have created a .tib file from a broken RAID1 from the first disk. The Image was successful. However oonce the raid was rebuild I wen to Apply the tib file back on the Array. This Atom server with the intel chipset and the 82801R ICH7r Sata RAID Controller is not recognized thru the bootable CD-Rom. This is very frustrating cause I cannot find a way to get teh Driver loaded up boot to see that Disk0 to apply the image back on.

Is there a driver disk to apply the Driver before the Bootable disk launches or are we jsut out of luck when it come to re build Workstations with RAID 1.

It would have been great to see it work if I only installed the snapdriver first. I guess I SOL.. Any Suggestions?

Hello Neil,

I'm really sorry, but in this forum we're discussing Acronis True Image software only. I may suggest you to create a separate thread at this forum.

Thank you.
