ACRONIS TRUE IMAGE Home 2011 IT #5519 conflict with Microsoft Office

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I'm your customer for a long time. I registered on your site 5 software, but
I am very disappointed by Acronis True Image Home 2011 # 5519.
I have the S.O. Windows 7 Business 64-bit, motherboard Asus Maximus Formula III,
video ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series, processor Intel QuadCore i7875K, ram 8 Gig.
Your software is in conflict with Microsoft Office 2010 (with Office 2007)
and blocks or slows down all applications.

Hello,

The latest version is build 6597. I am not sure it is available in Italian; can you check it out?

If this doesn't solve your problem, how do you determine your version is in conflict with Microsoft Office 2010? Are you trying to backup Outlook emails?

Of course I installed the Build 6597. The bad working is the same I decribed you. I didn't try to backup outlook emails because the software doesn't answer when it's still at the beginning page, or, only after a long tome, give me just the chance to backup the partition of the SO. when I do this, ATI doesn't do anything, it just stops and I'm obliged to restart th pc.
The skeduling works perfectly.
I underline that I have Seven 64 bit and when I try on anolther pc with Seven 32 bit, everything works perfectly.

The bed working started when i installed Microsoft Office . Before installing Microsoft Office everything worked perfectly

Hi there,

I am using Windows Ultimate x64 and Microsoft Office 2011 32bit version (but without Outlook, the family version) and I didn't see this issue.

Did you install the 64bit version or the 32 bit version of Office 2010 on the 64 bit system?

Hello Giorgio and Pat!

Thank you for finding time to open the thread and report about the issue. I entirely understand your concern, and will do my best to help you.

According to the development information, Outlook issue was fixed in the latest build. Given the symptoms you've specified (slowing down other applications, etc.) I can assume that the problem is caused by the glitch during the update installation process, and some drivers (low-level ones) got incorrectly assigned. This can be solved by the clean reinstallation.

I would advise you to download and run Acronis True Image Home 2011 Clean Up utility, and after that install the latest build once again.

This should solve the problem. In case it remains, please gather Acronis Info, Procmon, and submit a support request with the information attached. Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify us the case number. We will do our best to speed up the process.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!
