Acronis True Image Home 2011 keeps Crashing!

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I downloaded the latest trial version of acronis true image home 2011 from acronis site and installed it .
I run Windows 7 SP1 ( 32 bit ) .
After installation and a reboot , when i ran true image the first time the windows appeared and then instantly there was a not responding message from windows .
Everytime i run TIH the same not responding message occurs :

Hi,

I've got the same problem , same configuration...I uninstall it again and again for nothing...

I've paid for ATIH with PP , but i think i 'll never sign in again, and won't advise acronis for nothing !.

Never uptdate could be the best solution..but for the time being, i 'am running out of ideas to solve it out..

here a video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnTU9ajLaVo

Something linked to the windows registry ? (any key to delete or so)..
EDIT : i found this to remove ATIH 2011 : http://kb.acronis.com/content/14871 but be carefull when using it as it crashed my boot sector when i run it (fortunately, W7 restore system rescue it smoothly)

Any help we'll be welcome, tks in advance

Shashank,

It looks like you have 2 disk (1) with each their system reserved partition. Could you post a picture of your disk management console?

Thanks

Yes I have 2 HDD , one "1 TB "and another "160 GB " .
But have only one system reserved partition !

Also :
Can this issue have something to do with Bitlocker encryption ?
I had one of my drives encrypted , but yesterday decided to decrypt it and since then acronis is opening fine .

Now not working ....

Is Acronis TIH 2011 a broken product ?

B'coz there are many complaints from users about it not working !

There are some bugs left with 2011 build 6857, but it is not broken at the level your are seeing.
I don't think I can help you out of this and I think you need to contact Acronis customer support.

This is maddening... I also have that problem. It's been going on about 3 months after the 1 month warranty was over. I thought it was that my Windows 7 needed to be reinstalled. Now it's been recently installed and same maddening problem again! Darn 1.5 GHz clock, dual CPU, Win 7 64 bits SP1. All updates are properly installed.

RAM 3 GB
Toshiba L355D-S119

I also have a bit locker drive and my HDD is partitionned in 4 NTFS logical partitions, one of which is a bitlocker.

Why do I have to pay 10$ to have something fixed that should be working already!?

I have the feeling they are playing with us. They lock us out for some reason. They must have found something in our computer that they didn't like.
I want a refund!

I thought Norton was bad! Yeah right. WHat a loss of time. I tried to install this over 10 times.
