Acronis TrueImage 2011 Backup failes with Error 2

Hi everyone,

first of all i'm using acronis with XP-Embedded. I know this OS is not officially supported but i had no problems with Acronis True Image 8,9,10,11,2009,2010 on XP-Embedded at all.

2011 unfortunately doesn't work.

Everytime I want to Backup something nothing happens for a couple of seconds then I get a error message that the task couldn't start.

The logfile says:

"Scheduler failed to run task "taskname" with GUID 'a long list of numbers and characters' because of error 2 (failed to find the file (folder) or the key (value) in the registry.)."

I really like to stick to Acronis, it would be great if someone has an idea how to fix this.

ok i searched the knowledge base a bit and found some threads about this.

i installed the newest acronis sheduler458 because some people said this would help but it didn't.
i tried the schedmgr.exe but when i try to clean the tasks using "task zap" it says Error 1722 The RPC server is unavailable but the scheduler2 service is running. Nevertheless i deleted all tasks manually and tried new ones...didn't help.

any ideas? :(
