Acronis Virtual Disc Bus not working properly
Hello,
My AVG PC tuneup tells me that Acronis Virtual Disc Bus is not working properly.
When I go to the device manager and click on that device I get the message "This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"
When I check for an update I am told I have the latest version installed.
I googled Code 31 and found the suggestion to remove the 6to4 adapter. I did this using a 6to4 removal tool but nothing changed.
I have always had Acronis set to do a full backup with no compression and high operating priority. On checking Acronis I found it had reverted to incremental backup with normal compression and low operating priority, which I assume are the basic default settings.
I reset Acronis to what I had before and clicked the box to make them my default settings but after turning Acronis off and on again it had reverted to incremental , normal compression and low priority, which I assume might be related to the fact that the Virtual Disc Bus is not working properly. Apart from that, Acronis is still working but I have to return the settings to what I want every time I use it.
Can you help me?
Regards,
Barry

Hello Collin B,
I did that after my posting but it has made no difference. Acronis will still not hold my settings for the backup options and reverts to the default settings once turned off.
