Acronis for Windows partitions on a Mac

I was wondering if Acronis can be used to backup a Windows partition on a Mac.

I have a dual-boot MacBook Pro with OS X and Windows 8. I have backup software for the OS X partition but nothing for the Windows partition. I have used Acronis for a very long time now to backup Windows PCs but I have no idea if it can be used to backup Windows partitions on a Mac. I don't see why not but, then again, I have no idea if it can work with a Mac ssd.

Can anyone tell me? Thanks.
