Add contents to disk?

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I can create a bootable disk fine to backup and restore but If I try to add anything else to the disk it wont boot anymore. is there a way to add other things to the disk? i'm trying to add driverpacks with a tool to install the drivers and im using poweriso to edit the iso before burning. The plan is to create like a runonce with the drivertool before I sysprep so once I restore the image it will automatically run the driver installer tool on the first boot from the disk - I cant do it from my nas because most the machines dont have the network drivers installed after the clean install.

Thanks

Aaron

What you need is a multi-boot tool that boots into an menu environment at which point you can choose to continue into various bootable ISOs. Some MVPs use Grub4Dos. I use Xboot, which actually has Grub4Dos as its core, but I found it simpler than Grub4Dos.

1. Download the bootable recovery media ISO from your Acronis account.
2. Use Xboot (free software) to create a bootable USB flash drive containing the Acronis True Image bootable recovery media.
3. Boot from that Xboot flash drive.

I boot from an Xboot flash drive, at which point I can select from several bootable ISOs that I've chosen to include, including Windows 7 repair disk, Acronis True Image, Partition Manager, etc.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion it sounds like it will do what I want, I'll try it now,
