All these problems are not "user error"

Thread needs solution

I have spent a long time searching for backup software that provides a certain set of features:
Windows compatible,
Bare restores from images,
scheduled backups,
file backups,
online backups,
multiple historical copies of files and images.
ATI is really the only software I've found that claims to do all this the way I want.

The problem is I have been trying to test ATI 2010 for more than a month and all I can get it to reliably do is a manual disk image or manual data backup. Scheduling looks like it is going to work, but the next day you find nothing was done. Ftp reported success, but there was nothing on the ftp site. ATI decided to write the data to my backup drive instead of the ftp site. And on, and on, and on...

Reading other posts and the few replies from Acronis, I get the feeling Acronis does not think these problems are real - that they are just "user errors".

Acronis, forget all this cutesy interface and ease of use crap (that ftp popup being one) and concentrate on making the core functionality robust and reliable. The GUI needs to be well organized; it does not need to be "simple enough for a 5 year old". Backup programs are complex.

I am trying ATI on Win7 64 home pro and XP. I have not had crashes, but I can assure you all of these reported problems are real. If I could find other software, I would not be wasting my time writing this post. I would be out of here so fast your head would spin. So please get your priorities straight and fix this mess.

Barry.
