Any reason why I should upgrade TIH 2010 to 2011?

Thread needs solution

I'm quite happy with TIH 2010. Is there any reason why I might want to upgrade to 2011, bearing in mind that it has a load of 1-star reviews on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B003YCOHGY/ref=cm_cr_dp_all_sum… Is 2011 really as big a POS as those reviews imply?

Acronis seems to release a new version every year, roughly around September. if you want to upgrade, and what you have now is serving your purposes, then you might want to wait until the next version comes out since, if history is a guide, it will be relatively soon. Otoh, you can make a backup fo your disk with 201 and try ATI for free.

I suspect 2010 has probably seen it's last build.

i will point out that the ATI 2011 bootCd is probably the best one Acronis ever made and some of us think it's worth the upgrade just to be able to make the disk, even if, after you make the bootcd, you're going to restore your PC to when a prior version (atio 2010, ATI 10, ATI11) was installed.

I find TIH2010 works without issue for me with win 7 so I'll be sticking with it till the next version of windows as I'm sure it will probably not be supported.
