Hello Lse,
thank you for your postings.
You cannot create a backup chain which doesn't have a full backup. So only way to create an incremental backup on your USB 3.0 disk is to create a new backup plan (or edit an existing one), select your USB 3.0 disk as backup destination, create a full backup and then create an incremental backup.
Thank you.

yes this do - but since is for NAS seagate acronis - i can not apply on full back up(did it initially) the incremental... in other words in usb 3.0 only full can DO ...
any video how to do this I want that is this you say? or step by step written instructions?
note: seagate acronis for NAS but use in western digital usb 3 ext HDD....

Lse,
When you create a back up chain, all .tib images must reside on the same back up destination. It doesn't matter if they are moved around, but the program will look for and verify that a full back up exists when a incremental or differential scheme has been selected. Regardless of the scheme, the first back up will always be a full.... subsequent back ups can be either differential or incremental, but they depend on a full back up initially. This shouldn't require further explanation.
If you want step by step instructions, please see Grover's Helpful Guides which provide information on how to use the product.

You mean if I have two usb 3.0 slots - i have to connect (for first incremental backup after full) to the same slot I make the full initial backup?
true or false ?

False, they must be the same path. Example: D:/My Backup/*****.***

so all URI have to be the same - expect file name... that's true?

All images must be in the same location (path).
