ATI 2010

Thread needs solution

I just updated from 2009 to 2010 and did a manual back up. I noticed there is no place to make a comment about the backup to refresh your mind and also while the backup was in progress the box that was usually there showing the progress bars and time left was missing. Is there a way to restore these features?

Looks like you may need to uninstall and try again, both features should be there.

Well I've uninstalled this thing twice, cleaned up and reinstalled and I still don't have a spot to add comments for my backup and I also do not get the progress bars and time remaining. Go Figure

Hello Richard,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help.

Unfortunately, the situation is unclear. In order to better understand the issue can you tell me the following? Do you mean that you don't have enough free space to place the comments or the appropriate box is not available at all? Do you mean that the progress bar doesn't show the current state of the operation and time left or do you mean that you don't see this window at all? Could you please illustrate the issues with the screen shots if it is necessary? Could you please provide us with the screen shots of creating the backup task step-by-step?

If you are not familiar with making screen shots, please read the below step-by-step instructions.
- Get to the window which you want to make a screen shot of;
- Hit the (Alt+)PrintScreen button on your keyboard;
- Run Paint usually available in Start\Programs\Accessories or another graphics application;
- Choose Paste command in Edit menu;
- Save the result picture in JPEG format being preferable.
I would recommend you to update the program to the latest build # 6053. I am not certain if the issue is addressed in the new build at this point, however it is generally a good idea to be up to date. Also, we should troubleshoot all issues with the latest build only. Please log in to your account on our web site to download the installation file. Please log in to your account on our web site to download the installation file. You can learn more on how to download the latest build in this article. Please update the program and see if the issue remains.
Special thanks to Colin for trying to help. In general there was a chance that the solution he had offered should have fixed the issue.

Please keep us informed, we are looking forward to hearing back from you.

Please let me know if the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question.

Thank you.
