ATI 2012 slow to load

I removed the option to "Search for backups at startup" and the option to "Automatically check for updates at startup", but ATI 2012 is still VERY slow to load. Is there any way to improve this? (Note: I only have 5 backup sets listed, though some have multiple versions)
