ATI generates alarms on irrelevant disks

A backup/image task started.
Just at the beginning ATI generates several alarms like "sector xyz on disk yxz has problems".
Anyhow, neither backup/image source data, nor backup/image file are placed on the disk yxz.
Nor ATI has any open files on this disk.
Why does ATI need to generate alarms for disk which is in no way included in the task?
