ATI2010 installed now Windows XP wont start
Upgraded 2009 to TI2010. Rebooted computer and get to Windows XP opening screen and then get a momentary flash of a blue screen and the computer starts reboot again or turns itself off. Also won't boot to safe made when I tried.
Have reinstalled a backup image and files thankfully but Don't wish to tempt fate again with TI2010 without some knowledge of the problem. Any body had this problem before? or any suggestions.
If it can't be fixed I guess I'll need to ask for a refund.

Dmitry,
So let's recap.
TI 2010 does not work on his system.
His system is now inoperable.
The fix will be out within a month.
So I guess that gives him a month to recovery his system.
He won't beable to install Windows 7 on October 22, because the previous versisons of TI are not compatible.
How about offering him a refund say he can buy a product that works?

Brenton posted that the system has already been restored (presumably using TI 2009) so it is currently operating.
However, asking for a refund now may still be a good idea if you want to go that route. The estimates given by Acronis on release dates is very often far from accurate and there's a good chance that the 30 days would be up before the new build is released.

Thanks to all for the info.
Yes, I have been able to get back to square with a previous 2009 image and keep working BUT I like to get what I pay for.
If it was a lot of money I would scream for a refund but it was only a relatively small amount for an update and I have previously found the program to be OK. I will give Acronis the 30 days to fix the problem that they have stated.
The clock is ticking!

Hello all,
Yes, I agree that this situation is not convenient for you. The case is that this BSOD occurs on some PC's after program installation, but most of installations are clear. That's why we were unable to reproduce this issue earlier. This issue has been forwarded to our Development Team immediately after we found it. This was fixed in build we're going to release soon, within this month.
You know that we're unable to provide the exact release dates due to our internal policy, but we clearly understand that this update should be released as fast as we can.
Thank you for your understanding!

Here's an update:
I posted the above problem also direct to support. After a few days I received a response directing me to completely uninstall the prior version of Acronis and went into step by step detail as to the method of doing so including the use of Acronis Clean up and deletion of temporary files etc.
Then of course to reinstall. I was a bit nervous as by doing this I lost the Acronis secure zone backups.
Fortunately the instructions were good to their word and the reinstall went off without a hitch. Backups proceed without problems and are validated as OK. Non stop backup seems to work well without intrusion to other programs and all scheduled backups have completed as directed.
I must also add that the support operator (Terence Singh) also recontacted twice on an unsolicited basis to check the validation process and just to see if all was now OK and performing as it should.
Couldn't fault the support backup...i'd have to give 4 stars for care and attitude.
(mind you it would have been better if the program worked as it should without the need for support in the first place...but lets face it it's not a perfect world.....certainly not in my experience with computer software over many years)
