ATIH 2011 6942 shows wrong 'date updated' on backups
Just updated my ATIH 2011 to update 6942 today. Then I checked my list of backups and two of them show 'Updated 1/1/2006' and 'The backup was successfully completed 1/1/2006'. These backups are for different partitions, BTW.
I selected 'Explore all versions' on each backup. On one of the backups it shows Sept. 6, 2011. This date is probably correct. On the second backup it says 'January 1st, 2006'.
I know for sure they weren't done clear back in 2006. I had problems with this software a month or two ago (ATIH lost the names of the partitions on all my backups) and had to delete all of my backups and recreate them, so I know I don't have any that old.
Why are the dates on these backups all out of whack?
(I don't know if the update messed things up, as I cannot recall if the dates were displaying wrong before I installed it.)
Thanks in advance for anybody's help!

The database is very quirky and reinstalling is a bit of a pita. If it was me, I'd try and validate the subject backups. If they validate, then I'd move the subject backups I want to keep to some other safe location. Then I'd let the updated ATI handle things from there.
IF they don't validate, then I'd just delete them and start over making backups.
Grover's advice is good -- jsut a diff approach to this kind of problem in ati.

I have the same problem. My new backups are dated 2005!

You have checked your system date, yes?
