ATIH 2013 can't delete a file that isn't there

Thread needs solution

Every time I run ATIH it does a correct backup and seems to be managing its files just fine. BUT.. every time it runs it generates an error:

Notice the date on the file is last december. At the end of december I changed come parameters and the backup has been doing fine. The new/current backups are in the directory:

I deleted several old backups [dating from November] by hand. And that seems to have caused no trouble at all *except* that it keeps trying to re-delete
DellBackup_2013-12-13_DellBackup_inc_b2_s4_v1-2.tib

I just tried something that might work: I just created the file. Not an actual backup file [in fact, it is just an empty file], but at least it has the right name. didn't work:
I did a backup, and the backup was successful, but now I get a different error

Failed to open DellBackup_2013-12-13_DellBackup_inc_b2_s4_v1-2.tib. Make sure the location is accessible and contains all versions of the backup.

Of course it can't, since I deleted that backup by hand. How can I get ATIH to just "forget" that backup [or at least that one file from that old backup]
