ATIH 2015 refuses to install because 2014 still there but...

I bought the 2015 upgrade and went to install it after an abortive uninstall using Control Panel (Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit). It refused to install because it said 2014 hadn't been fully uninstalled.

Tried the recommended clean-up utility but this hasn't helped. Still won't install. Now have no back-up safety net..... Can anyone help but if not I'll have to get my money back and go elsewhere. What's particularly annoying is that they don't allow tech support as the 2014 support period has expired, despite the fact that there's anew purchase!

As I can see the issue has been resolved already, but in future system report (use AcronisInfo standalone tool in case the product isn't installed yet: http://kb.acronis.com/acroinfo) can be of help to investigate the issue. It should contain earlier installation attempts' logs - and one can dig into them to find the potential root cause (see https://kb.acronis.com/content/1647 for the general details how to analyze the install logs).
