ATIH2011 Wake up the sleeping/hibernating computer missing

Ok, so this option does not exist on my install, what's wrong? Do I need to change the power setting or something?

In the user manual, it says:

If the computer is off when the scheduled time comes, the task won’t be performed, but you
can force the missed task to run at the next system startup by checking a box under the
Start time fields.

To my mind this is the single greatest omission from the application. I am playing with the Windows task scheduler now, hoping it will work, because I don't want to keep my machine running all night to perform overnight backups.

The option is not actually available in the scheduler, the computer is always in sleep mode, never shut down. the "wake up the sleeping computer" checkbox is actually missing for me, it has 'bug' written all over it.

Still no help from "support"? I think Acronis AU might find the Competition and Consumer Act is going to bite their bottom line being legally forced to provide support.

Back to the question itself: I've checked all the internal resources we have. There are no mention of a known issue that would match your description. So the situation requires investigation. Please provide gather

  1. the screen-shot of backup setting
  2. Acronis Info from the problem machine
