Auto clean up is deleting wrong BU files!

Thread needs solution

OMG!

This AM I had a list of email notifications that my varied BUs completed and were verified, but one failed.

When I went to the varied network drives to see what the issue was I noted that ALL of the verified completed BU files had been deleted. Note step 15 & 16 the clean up deleted non related BUs for two other BUs located in different directories.

I have blindly been seeing the Email messages that all BUs completed successfully and not worried.

Now I realize Acronis was deleting the BUs so that NONE existed!
In spite of email messages indication all was fine.

I have used Acronis for > 10 years but now with issues with connections to NAS I may be forced to move to another software.

If anyone has any clue how/why this is now happening I would appreciate an answer before I move to an entirely new BU software. Using the latest build of Acronis 2014.

After paying for the $20 support it was determined that the previous build 6673 had somehow had the cache files corrupted.
The "clean up" rules section and the credential logins of cache had both somehow become corrupted.
No explanation offered as to how or why.

The fix was a complete uninstall of Acronis and a new build 6688 installation and re-registration.

Seems to be working now.

Very alarming when notifications form one BU task was successful and then the next BU task deleted it!

I had tried a maintenance repair install but that had not solved the issue.
