Back-up task doesn't overwrite existing file (using 2 external harddisk)

Thread needs solution

Hello,

We have problems here with making back-ups to 2 external harddrives.
As you can see on the screenshot (attachement) it doesn't overwrite (for example) 01-maandag
But makes a strange file 01-maandag+variousfilename back-up.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?
With true image 2010 we had no problems using 2 harddrives.

Additional info:
I configured a back-up task for each day. When the harddrive is changed to the other, it's meant to overwrite (for example) 01-maandag 02-dinsdag, et cetera....

Thanks in advance.

Martin,

You need to use 2 different tasks, with 2 different names backing up to the disks where each disk has a different drive letter (fixed letter)

Thats a good idea. But what about all the errors, when disk 1 or disk 2 isn't connected?
Just leave it for what it is?

Isn't there a better way?

Just let it error out when the disk is not there, or schedule it (using the ATI scheduler, or the Windows Task Scheduler) so that Backup A runs only when disk A is there (assuming you make sure that you plug disk A the days the backup is supposed to run). For example run backup A every other week, then backup B every other (remember to switch the disk).
