Backing up and restoring image from a Win 7 Spanned volume?

I created a Win 7 Spanned volume with a 3Tb and a 1.5 TB drive. So win 7 sees it as one large drive.
If I back up my machine to this spanned drive, would I be able to restore if I use the Acronis boot disc? I am thinking it wont see it because it was created with Windows only.
Do you guys agree>
