Backup does not work!

Thread needs solution

When I try to backup, "calculating" time hangs, and the backup does not progress.
What am I doing wrong?

Is it a new installation? Did you upgrade from a previous version?

Launch msconfig, go to the services tab. Check the hide microsoft services box at the bottom. Disable all items except the Acronis services (Non stop, scheduler, sync)
Go to the startup items tab, and disable all items there.
Reboot.
Try your backup again. Let us know how it goes.
