Backup fails after disc space is full + frustration

Thread needs solution

Since I purchased the product 7 months ago, I've been trying figure out a way to backup my computer without the backup failing once the disc space of my external drive is full.

My program is incremental, I've set it to delete after 7 days, after seven backups. whatever I do, it doesn't work.

Usually after a month, when my disc is full I just get errors and then, not only that it doesn't backup, it can't even retrieve my older backups!

All I get is error 0x0064006C+0x00640005 which has no info in the knowledge base.

I'm very disappointed from this product, especially since I've read good reviews about it.
So far, I feel very unsafe using Acronis in case of emergency.

Please help me resolve this once and for all.

Here is an option you can try which works for me. You can change the 6 and 4 examples to your own needs. Some users have reported problems with using x number of days to control but using the keep x number of recent backup chains seems to work.

Start a new task and point to new empty folder or sub-folder and set your task according to this example. It is best that you do manual deletes from within Windows Explorer so you can maintain control over what you want to delete. Do NOT point your new task to the same folder you have currently using but it can be a sub-folder if you wish.
