Backup naming
Is there any way to keep the backup set name the way I want it. The 2014 version appends _full_b1_s1_v1 then it goes to _full_b2_s1_v1 and never purges older backups.
This will eventually fill up my backup disk if I don't catch it in time. The older versions of Acronis would overwrite the backup set name with the name I chose.
I'm doing a full system backup of files that I want on a weekly basis. Each week is in a separate weekly folder.
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

The use of _full_b1_s1_v1 is out of your control. This link can help.

As MVP Enchantech has indicated, you need to use a different backup scheme (examples below)
In order for automatic cleanup to work, you will need to create one new task (and only one) and set it up as per one the examples.
The task is to put all the backups into ONE destination folder. When the number of old backups reaches the preset 'Store X number", then the deletion will begin of the oldest chain.
GH11. Create Custom Full Backup Scheme.Keep 4 versions (chains).
GH12. Create Custom Incremental Backup Scheme. 6 Inc, Keep 4 chains.
GH13. Create Custom Differential Backup Scheme. 2 Diff, Keep 2 chains.

I am assuming that means each weekly backup is being put into a different folder and that is the part whcih will fill up your disk and one of the example above will correct this.
The editing or changing of task settings can also cause the task to produce results different than expected.
