Hi,

Is it possible to backup *from* a mapped NAS drive (Win 7)? When using the Source selection window, only local SATA and eSATA drives are listed as choices. The NAS drive does, however, appear as a choice in the Destination window.

I am successfully backing up FROM my NAS drive, but the drive is NOT mapped. (My preference.) So for my Acronis backups my NAS is referenced strictly by its network path; ie: \\NAS1\myfolder\....

Backing up from a mapped NAS drive should work. However, I did read in a review that there may be problem doing this in ATIH v12. Check this review:
