Backup stopped waiting for input !!! Really?

Thread needs solution

Hello. I am a very new user to True Image 2013 build 6514.

Scenario: I have a USB docking station hosting a a 2.5" 120gb drive. About 50% used space. This is the source for my backup. I want a complete image. It has three partitions. One hidden, one recovery and the largest is the operating system partition.
I have another USB drive hosting a 1TB WD RED hard disk which acts as the destination.

Problem.

.1 Straight off the bat, I could only select one of the source partitions. Some disk image this will be.

.2 The most infuriating. Setting the backup to run it reported 1.5 hours. I expected 3 hours so I was quite happy. I started the job and left it running and went to work. I returned 10 hours later to find that TI2013 had decided it couldn't copy a file, do i want to cancel or ignore.... I wasted 10 hours electricity and a whole evening while it completes the rest of the backup. Acronis this is disgraceful. If i have to sit and watch the backup process and confirm everything that it can't handle, then your product is not worthy of being called a "backup solution" because it's just a file copy solution. I'm sure a lot of people can write a solution using only batch files composed of nothing more than 7zip and notepad, and they won't need a prompt to continue.

Come on folks. You have what is fundamentally a good, no grand, product here and a global audience. Who hasn't heard of Acronis?! You really should be doing better in this respect.

3. After I "ignore" confirm the prompt that had been waiting for some considerable hours, the backup software told me 7 minutes remains.. that was two hours ago and it still reports 7 minutes. I had about 20 more prompts too.

I accept I am a very new user and I may well have missed something. But it means that what i should seen isn't obviously apparent. PLEASE PLEASE set all process to run without prompts midway through. Let it complete then report what it's skipped. Like professional products do.

Thanks for reading and your consideration.
