Backups disappearing from my external hard drive
Thread needs solution
This is the second time this has happened:
I had a whole number of once a day backups programmed into Acronis for movies, photos, MS Office files, Outlook files.
Acronis created it´s own folders on my external drive and was chugging away for approx a week, doing what it was supposed to do.
For two days now, I am getting an error message from Acronis: operation failed
I just checked the program, all but one backup rule have disappeared and when I checked the disk, the folders are still there, but empty now.
I am flabbergasted and clueless.
I work under Win8 and have Gdata Internet Security 2015.
