Block bitmap corrupted

I purchased Acronis True Image 11 in 2009. I was recently attempting to do a full restore. I selected drive "C" and the software started analying. I eventually received a "Partion Error" message stating:
"The selected partition contains the following error: Block bitmap corrupted. Please note you cannot change the file system and size of this partition. It is recommended that you check these partitions after restoration with your operating system disk tools."

The restore ran fine and when I ran chkdsk c: /f /r nothing was found to be corrupted.

I've seen this message before when I attempted a full restore.

1. What's going on?

2. Is there really an issue?

3. Is it an Acronis-only issue?

4. Can it be fixed or is there a need to fix it since the restore works?

I would appreciate any help. I tried the FAQs but they didn't seem similar. Thanks.
