Boot-time imaging: Should I upgrade ATI 2011 to ATI 2013?

i currently use ATI2011 together with W7. Not only boottime but i do boottime imaging and recovery as well.

So far I tried ATI2013 and (update) and can see no essential advantage to go to ATI 2013.

From my POV the user interface is more comfortable in ATI2013 but i think thids is not worth the price.

One point if you try to upgrade... i hade serious trouble caused by the windows integration what leaded to instability ...dont know if this issue is solved with the curent version of ati2013....

Because of Windows integration issues and the fact that ATI integrates itself deeply in Windows, I avoid even installing ATI.

I do just boot-time image creation. Haven't had to do any boot-iime restores (thank goodness). Just like the old days of doing this in DOS with GHOST).

So, I'll stay with ATI 2011 if there is no advantage in upgrading (for boot-time features).

Hmmm one thing is... maybe ATI2013 nativly supports some features that you have to ad to ATI2011 with pluspack.

for example support of gui tables....

yes, if youre drives are partitioned as "guid" drive,

but sorry didnt wan to confuse you:

if you currently use ATI2011 for boottime and all works proper you can forget this.
