Bootable Recovery Media

Thread needs solution

I had to reinstall TI due to a OS problem on my PC. It's all good now but do I have to create a new recovery media or is my original OK?

Neil, it is always recommended to have a current copy of the Acronis bootable Rescue Media so that you have this to allow you to recover your computer system should you suffer a total disk failure for your main OS boot drive.

Please remember that both the Acronis Startup Recovery Manager (ASRM) that provides the F11 prompt on boot, or choosing to perform Recovery functions from within Windows, both require your main OS boot drive to be available, so if that drive fails, only the Rescue Media (on CD or USB stick) can give you a means of recovering your system.
