BSOD during update to TIH2010 build 7154!! Data now corrupted.

Thread needs solution

Trying to update to 7154, got an error message that Windows Explorer (Process 30xx) is running and needs to be stopped before proceeding. I clicked Retry several times and no success, so I clicked Continue to allow TIH 2010 to update the required files. Install continued, until I got a BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH (first EVER on this computer).

Rebooted computer, try to uninstall TIH 2010, getting error that configuration data is corrupted and I should contact my system administrator (this is my personal machine).

So now I cannot uninstall. I need help ASAP in resolving this issue. Is there a way to manually uninstall, or can I just run the installer again on top of what's currently there? Thanks.

Hello Andrew,

Thank you for posting. I will definitely assist you with this issue.

Please try removing the following components manually because most likely they were not update properly and this causes the BSOD:

1. Removing Acronis Backup Archive Explorer

2. Removing Acronis SnapAPI Drivers

Looking forward to your reply and if you have additional questions, please let me know.

Thank you.
