Hello Ofir,

Thank you for using Acronis Products

In order to investigate the issue please attach crush dump create after BSOD, it will show the source of the issue. Please do the following in order to enable mini-dumps:

Windows XP:

- Right click on "My Computer" and choose "Properties";

- Go to "Advanced" tab;

- Go to "Startup" and "Recover Settings";

- Choose "Small memory dump" in "Write debugging information" box;

- Close all the dialog windows by clicking OK buttons.

Now, please reproduce the system crash and send us the mini-dumps created. This will allow us to investigate the problem thoroughly.

Windows Vista:

To enable mini-dumps in Windows Vista one should do the following:

- Right click on My Computer, choose Properties and go to the Advanced system settings

- Hit Settings in the Startup and Recovery box

- Choose Small memory dump in Write debugging information

- Close all the dialog windows by clicking OK buttons

- Reproduce the system crash

- The small dump file will be created in the directory chosen in the Small dump directory box.

If you have an inbuilt card reader, then disable it through Windows Device Manager and let us know if the issue persists.

1.      Hit Win-R to get to the command prompt;

2.      Type in devmgmt.msc and hit Enter;

3.      In the Device Manager window locate your card reader (it probably starts with letters SD, MMC etc);

Right-click on the card reader and select Disable.

Just out of curiosity - could a card-reader that is in a networked printer also cause an issue with Acronis as I too am having BSOD issues with the later build of 2009 and the current build of 2010.
