BSOD by snapman.sys

Thread needs solution

Hello,
I have a very similar problem to what has already been posted in http://forum.acronis.com/forum/38243:
About two weeks ago my system (Win7 64bit, 8GB Ram) started failing to boot with a BSOD about every second boot (blaming snapman.sys). So I started, BSOD, system started again and then worked.
Yesterday I installed Acronis Disk Monitor to see if I have any problems with my HD which could cause the problem. And after this it is now the first day where it insists on it's BSOD, so I can't boot. The only way to start (and that's how I am online now) is in safe mode.
To answer the most common questions:

  • Version of snapman.sys is 4.4 build 1059
  • True Image 2013 Build 5551
  • Minidumps or full kernel dumps are not created
  • Picture of BSOD is here: https://www.box.com/s/oblsxufit8ji20twfoo0
  • I can provide the AcronisInfo Report on request by PM

I tried to uninstall the Disk Monitor, but in safe mode this doesn't seem to be possible.

If there is someone out to help it would be great. Maybe Oleg is still out there with his magic version of snapman.sys ;-)

Thanks for any help,
Thorsten

Update:
I was able to do a system restore to a state before the installation of Acronis Disk Monitor. This reduced the probability of Blue Screens during boot to about 50%, and this made it possible to boot to the normal working state. Then I uninstalled True Image, rebooted, installed True Image again - and now it is all working, without Blue Screens during booting. And I think I don't want to install Disk Monitor again. Well, maybe after the next scheduled backup...
Let's see how long this situation lasts :-)

Greetings,
Thorsten
