A bug in Validation (Advanced Settings) or am I doing something wrong

I have scheduled backups that run every night with no validation configured.
I have set validation to run at night once a week and for it to wake up the computer.
The computer is configured not to wake up on normal backup nights.
However when the validation advanced options are set to wake up the computer, it wakes up EVERY night and not just on the validation night.
Can anyone confirm this?
