Build 6574 Extremely Slow Outlook 2003 Backup

Have VISTA 32bit HP SPk2 and TIH 2011 Update 1 build 6574.
Just performed the latest update of TIH at recommendation of support to fix other problem and now my email backup is newly terribly slow (nearly non-moving). After previous normal speed email back up with previous build this current build appears nearly "stalled" when executing email bu from list of bu's. Have cancelled 4 efforts and working on 5th. Also got subsequent Outlook error that Archive file has been closed improperly. Deleted "old" email backup job in back up list, recreated Outlook backup and now have same terribly slow backup speed.
