Can I put the recovery boot and image on my second hard drive.

Thread needs solution

The idea here is if hard drive #1 is not bootable the system will automatically go to hard drive#2 to do a recovery (with the right boot order setup)

Stephen,
Using disk 2 as a location to store your .tib images is a good idea. I would create an Acronis Boot CD and rely on it to start my system if it failed. This would allow you to recover saved images from disk 2 to disk 1. You never want to put all of your eggs in one basket so to speak, so having 1 additional location where images can be archived adds an additional layer of protection. Granted, the chances of your loosing both disks at the same time is slim, but it could happen. Saving 2-3 back ups elsewhere will ensure you are fully protected.

IF you want to have a clone of your system drive on another Hdrive in your machine, no you cannot do that. Windows doesn't like that; it accepts only one valid system disk per installation.

But shadowsports's suggestion if good. Always good to have at least one backup off the machine if not actually off-site.
