Can not explore any of my True Image Home 2011 tib files
Whenever I try to view/explore any of my various Acronis tib files..Acronis stops working and I need to force a close of Acronis. This happens every time I try to explore the files/folders section per the attached jpg...
Anyone know why I can not "explore" the image via the explore and recover link(s) in the MY backups screen in Acronis True Image Home 2011 ??
Thanks...TRinAZ in the

Thanks...but problem has gotten more serious ! I uninstalled 2011 and ran the Acronis cleaner...also manually searched for any leftovers in Win 7 Pro 64bit PC and reinstalled....But
Same issue exists after re-install AND also now I can not run Windows backup system image link (bu.jpg)...I am getting the following error in the nodrives jpg
I can mount all my test tib images without issue...just get an error and Acronis shutdown in the "explore" window
Pretty aggravated at the moment...hopefully someone can help figure this out. Was going to purchase 2 or 3 licenses after testing the Home Image software in the trial period...but now having second thoughts...?
Thanks for any help on this in advanced,
TRinAZ

Hi Tim,
Can you post a screen capture of your disk management console when your backup drive is connected and Windows Backup cannot see it?
For the ATI crash, I am afraid there is no easy answer. You will need the help of customer support to analyze the processes running with ATI that might conflict with it.

Attached is SS...my system has been up and running for about 16 months, including the external USB drive and never had issue with Windows B/U until Acronis Home Image was installed and/or uninstalled

Since this is the "Trial Version"...how do I go about contacting support for this issue ?
Thanks again....Tim

To fix Windows Backup, you can go to uninstall a program, turn on/off windows features, turn windows backup off, restart and turn it back on. That will reinstall it.
You can contact support as explained here: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/18623
Probably the fastest route is through the chat option, on the web site.

Tim,
My mistake. I thought I did it myself but it was with Windows Search, not Windows Backup. For Windows Backup, I fixed an issue left over with ATI by doing a repair install of Win7. That's pretty quick and painless.
The Acronis Info utility can be found here: http://kb.acronis.com/content/2707
